The College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) is the regulatory body that governs
the regulation of registered nurses and nurse practitioners in British Columbia (B.C.). This authority
is derived from the Health Professions Act, the Nurses (Registered) and Nurse Practitioners
Regulation and the College's Bylaws.
Under section 21 (2) of the Health Professions Act, CRNBC must maintain a register of individuals
who are regulated by the College. The register helps the public confirm that a person — who is
providing registered nursing or nurse practitioner services in B.C. — is registered with CRNBC. This
information is not for or intended to be used for any other purpose, including marketing or research.
CRNBC makes every effort to ensure that all of the information on this website is accurate and
complete. However, CRNBC does not represent, warrant or guarantee that it is, and CRNBC accepts
no liability or obligation relating thereto.
